Type 10 'QL' (No stops), in thin letters within an oval of 26 unbroken broken rays. The framed datestamp is 25 - 26.5 mm in diameter with 'BRISBANE' around the top, 'QUEENSLAND' around the foot, and a stop at each side; in the centre, in three lines, are the time, month and day, and year in two digits. Known used from 1906 - 1911. Rated Common

There is also a similar type 9a QL duplex. The main difference is in the duplex portion (type 9a has thinner rays). Within the date stamp portion the major difference is that the stops on type 9a are smaller and thinner than type 10. Type 9a also precedes type 10 and was in use from 1899 - 1905. As well date stamps type 21a and 21b are very similar, so ensure that the duplex portion exists
