Type 24 A framed circle, 25 mm in diameter, with 'BRISBANE' around the top, 'Q. L.' around the foot and no bars or spaces between them; the date is in one line in the centre on a revolving drum; first is the time, followed by the month in two letters and lastly the year in 2 figures. Some examples show a constant smudge to the right of 'Q. L.', suggesting there may have been more than one implement

To assist in distinguishing them see my page HERE. However type 24 is very easy to distinguish as it is the only one line in the centre Brisbane datestamp with 'Q. L.' at the bottom
