Type 11a A mostly framed octagonal oval, 26 x 22 mm in diameter, with the inscription in four straight lines across the centre - a code numeral at top, 'BRISBANE' in the next line, with the date in one line beneath; date, month and year all being in two digits, and then 'QL' at the foot, with no stops. 

Discovered by Dave Elsmore in early 2006, only 5 examples are known, 4 recorded by him - three in the initial 2006 find and a cover in early 2020. The dates range from 19 March 1882 to 24 April 1883. Code numbers seen so far are 4, 8, 13 and 14. Rated 5R
