Type 9 An oval of a number unbroken rays with GPO with no stops in the centre

Type 9a An oval of 24 unbroken rays with GPO with no stops in the centre and letters 6 mm high. FORGERY. Not rated.

The letters are the correct height (6 mm) and the rays are the correct number (24), but both the rays and the numerals are much thinner than the genuine type 9a which it is based on
