Type 11 An oval of a number unbroken rays with GPO with no stops in the centre and letters 5 mm high. The datestamp is (24 - 25 mm in diameter) and has at each side between the names a square with 4 small dots. 

  • Type 11b An oval of 45 unbroken rays with GPO with no stops in the centre and letters 5 mm high. Day is before the month and is rated 3R. Recorded usage is 21 December 1906 to April 1908

Type 9a GPO (24 rays) rated common. Some of my examples and either showing some deterioration or else the canceller was recut or replaced as examples on later issues are thicker and more defined

  • Type 9a An oval of 24 unbroken rays with GPO with no stops in the centre and letters 6 mm high. FORGERY. Not rated.
The letters are the correct height (6 mm) and the rays are the correct number (24), but both the rays and the numerals are much thinner than the genuine type 9a which it is based on
